Mattin Aerial Solutions provides professional UAV surveying, mapping and geospatial services for construction, land development, earthworks and environmental projects across South West England.
MAS was founded by Zac Mattin, an Engineering Geologist and UAV surveyor, with the aim of combining modern aerial survey technology with practical experience of working in the Geotechnical world on construction sites, ground investigations and earthworks projects.
The focus is simple: to turn accurate spatial data into clear, useful information that helps clients understand their sites and make better decisions.

My background is in engineering geology and geotechnical work, with experience across ground investigation, construction and large-scale earthworks projects throughout the South West.
Working directly on these projects has given me an understanding of the information that engineers, contractors, developers and landowners actually need — whether that's understanding existing site levels, monitoring earthworks progress, calculating material volumes or identifying potential constraints at an early stage of development.
MAS was established to bring that practical site experience together with UAV photogrammetry, RTK/GNSS surveying and geospatial analysis.
Rather than simply capturing aerial imagery, the aim is to provide accurate, site-specific data that has a practical application.
